Terms of Service

NightBound is a streaming service for short-form serial drama. Some episodes are free; others are unlocked using virtual coins or watched with a VIP subscription. We add, change and remove series and episodes from time to time.

You need an account to watch beyond the free episodes. You must be at least 18 years old to create one. Keep your sign-in details private — you're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you believe someone else has accessed it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, abuse promotions, or use the Service fraudulently.

Coins are virtual credits used to unlock episodes inside NightBound. Coins are not money. They have no cash value, can't be transferred to another person or account, can't be exchanged for cash, and can be used only inside the Service. The coin price of episodes, the contents of coin packs, and bonus offers can change at any time; changes never take away coins already in your wallet.

Free coins (welcome bonuses, daily check-ins, promo codes, gifts from us) are promotional, may be limited or ended at any time, and have no cash value.

VIP is an optional subscription that unlocks every episode while it's active. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period (for example weekly, monthly or annually, depending on the plan you chose) until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your profile — you'll keep VIP until the end of the period you already paid for, and you won't be charged again. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Prices for new billing periods may change — we'll show the current price before you subscribe.

Purchases of coins and VIP are final, and — because coins and streaming access are digital content delivered immediately — generally non-refundable, except where the law in your country gives you rights we can't exclude.

Two promises from our side: if an episode fails to play after you spend coins on it, the coins are returned to your wallet automatically. And if something has clearly gone wrong with a purchase — a double charge, coins that never arrived — contact us and we'll put it right.

Promo codes and special offers (like the first-purchase deal) may have their own conditions — expiry dates, usage limits, one-per-account rules — and may be changed, paused or withdrawn at any time. Codes obtained or used fraudulently may be cancelled, along with anything they granted.

The series, episodes, artwork and branding on NightBound are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to stream the content for your own private, non-commercial viewing. You may not download, record, copy, redistribute, publicly screen, or resell any content, or use it to train machine-learning systems. Unlocking an episode grants streaming access, not ownership.

Don't attempt to bypass payment or access controls, scrape or data-mine the Service, interfere with its operation, create accounts in bulk, or exploit bugs or promotions. If we discover balances or access obtained through abuse or error, we may correct wallets, redemptions and access accordingly.

We work to keep NightBound available and improving, but the Service is provided “as is” — we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular series stays available. We may change or discontinue features. If we ever discontinue the Service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that consumer law gives you which cannot be excluded.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. For meaningful changes we'll take reasonable steps to let you know — like a notice in the app. Continuing to use NightBound after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
